Neutral Milk Hotel seems vaguely overrated; I continue to insist on the godliness of Echo & the Bunnymen. The New Pornographers' last effort is good, but not great. Patti Smith constantly wows. Mike Doughty should be receiving the kind of recognition Green Day has, for some reason, acquired this past year. Thus ends my quick capsul reviews of the albums I got this week.
