I go through strange phases. Right now, I'm in one of those super-analytical phases. Every song lyric takes on another twist, every movie (no matter how many times I've seen it) finds a new angle. Favorite quotes shine anew with deeper, broader meaning. My life, my history...it makes a certain kind of sense. A frail lattice of order, super-imposed with the gleaming power of Prometheus. 'Prometheus,' meaning 'hind-sight.'
It's his brother, Epimetheus, that I need now. Foresight has value, hindsight just has kitsch.
But that OK. I know what I'm doing now. Maybe I always did.
