I twisted my ankle last night leaving a bar when I toppled over.
I walked it off like a good girl and didn't make a fuss.
I awoke to a softball size ankle that could not be walked on. I was due at my friend Jasmines in an hour to drive her and her baby to cincinatti (an obligation not easily overlooked)
I take my dog to the back yard and sit on the steps and wait for her to go. When shes done I call her in, she runs to me but stops just out of reach, looks at me as if thinking "you're hurt and can't catch me" Then runs away.
I get weepy about Opal but go inside anyway, then crawl into some real clothes and climb into my car drive to jasmines and show her my ankle in tears (about Opal mostly)
Jasmine went and got ace bandages and ice packs and bandages me up. I drive to Cincinatti, my mind on my dog and my foot.



Lucky for me some creepy guy found her, and luck for me my friend volenteers to go get her for me.
And lucky for me, my ankle doesn't hurt anymore!

Life isn't as shitty as i thought it was going to be earlier.
