Recieved by me when i got off of work today, after I got a "punch in the face" from my ex over the phone.
I feel like a smuck.
Cindy, I know this isn't exactly the way to do this but it's been on my mind all day. I wanted to tell you earlier but I didn't want to ruin your day at work. And I was going to wait until after I got off but I felt like I should tell you as soon as possible. I shouldn't have moved so fast and asked you to be my girlfriend. I like hanging out with you, I have a lot of fun with you, but I cannot be in a relationship right now. I need to be looking for a job but since i've been seeing you, I haven't been doing that very much. I just can't go out with you all the time and give you the time and attention you need. I need to make job hunting my top priority right now. I wish that we could just peel back our "girlfriend" status and just be dating like in the beginning, but not exclusively....or at the least still be friends. But if you hate me and never want to see me again then I would understand. I'm an asshole. I'm really really sorry. If you want to call me tonight after 8:30 then feel free. I hope you understand.
