Kids are on their busses off to school. Thanks to me cause I rock! The kitten is on my lap, it's Thursday. I'm not happy though cause I don't think I will be able to make it to 80's night this sucks! My ride bailed out on me cause he is an asshole for real! Crap!

You could do what I used to do when I didn't have a ride. I took the bus there and chanced it for the ride back. I never had to take a cab though, someone always offered to take me home.

I always hated having to rely on other people for rides... Sometimes it's really fun and all, but most times, it's more trouble than it's worth... At least you have the kitty... In the same situation, I would shell out the cash for a bus/taxi ride. At the very least, then you wouldn't have to worry about getting too drunk/smashed/shitfaced, because you wouldn't be driving...

Yeah...right now, I'm enjoying the tension and unspoken attraction...I know it's mutual, but it's kind of fun to play cat and mouse. Thrill of the chase and all that rot.
