Camping......
So I headed up to the Erie Canal to go on a camping adventure.....I did well, spent the night alone in the woods just me and my tent. Against all my best friends pleading me to leave.....due to the fact they have no faith in my camping skills I stayed! I spent the next day hiking all over seeing is how I was on the center of a wildlife refuge! It was amazing.
But I will admit I stratigically placed my camping trip about 15 miles from my "new found friend". Sneaky and desperate I know. Anyhow, I got a call from my friend who asked to join me at my site....I said sure come for dinner. She arrived with her dog "cowboy" in tow. We ate food, talked, laughed uncontrolably, drank, and stole firewood till 3 in the morning. The perfect setting with the perfect company. Now I am horrible at reading people which I really need to work on but I though the night was going well.....then it came, she asked to crash. I was liek sure even though my tent is entirely too small. But her "funny thing" had her sleeping bag with her (I'm not the only one pre-planning)...we cuddled and slept....totally perfect yet innocent.
We woke up drove down the lake...about 45 minutes of us parting ways she called to ask me to turn around and come back....but I was already clearly too far to go back and I just went home. I was confused by the call back. I got home, tried to calm down my furious kittens for my neglect and recieved and email stating the fact that in fact my friend held back everthing she could from attacking me due to shyness. But now the aforeseen attraction has been documented and I am thrilled!
We ended up talking on the phone till 2 AM which we have done about every night. I must say I am so far out of the game....this is kinda scarey cause I have no idea how to take things....but the next time we meet (which has been like every weekend thus far) is going to be amazing.....and I am going to be nervous as hell.
Ughhhhhhhh....yeah super nervous! But I'm glad I'm still attractive to people! On that note here are some camping pictures....
