Hello all....
Well today was a good day at work I must say. It was filled with some "corporate meetings" which isn't so bad. Very informative to say the least. I got tasked with filling the engineering folders...good thing there are only like 5,000 !
Talked with the boy at work who I bother on a daily basis now...he actually asked me to change the oil in his car! I said sure pay me in beer Yes, I DO know to do that one car maintenance thing and am proud of it! It is so much cheaper to do it yourself and takes all of 10 minutes.
I spoke with the fella in IT who is practically putting on that we are in so much need of help please transfer to our department! Hey, you snooze you lose buddy! Besides why go back there, I am already certified across the board with IT things....but now being an engineer I have a duel profession Makes for a very tempting resume....for when I want to walk across the street to Lockheed & Martin
On kitty update...my beloved siamese Sade has about 2 weeks till she pops! I already have her temporarily on the charts to get fixed 8 weeks after her babies are due. I mean I spoke with the vet and as soon as she's ready she's in. I also have the house set for birth, I'm like a nervous mom. I also have gathered a list of folks with first dibs so they all have wonderful homes to go to
I have after work drink plans tomorrow with a co-worker of mine...I hope my lil British man from Lockheed is there, he is so damn funny! I mean hilareous.....and I love to hear his accent! I've always had a fascination with accents......I remember we had a super cute English woman working for our HR dept. I would trap her in endless conversations just to hear her talk She soooo knew it, I don't care neither did she!
OK well I have a glas of Pinot with my name all over it.....which in turn came from a bottle which is next in line..haha....Lush I am!
