I had such a good weekend! My boyfriend came to visit me on Firday night, and didn't leave until Monday afternoon...it was Heaven. All weekend we just lazed around, sleeping, watching movies, going out to dinners.
All of which I am severly regretting today. I didn't do any homework. I have a test in Brazilian Portuguese on Thursday, which I am in no way prepared for.
It's official. I have a huge, heavy case of writers' block. Pretty nasty when one is in an intensive writing honor's english course, and has to conceive, write, and polish an entire essay in six days. I spent some time in the library before classes this morning...I walked out two hours later with this scary thing:

and that's it!! Looking at it now is in no way helping me...
Anyone out there who has experienced prejudice because people considered them too young to have the position that they do have at work want to write an essay for me?? I think I am having so much trouble with this becuase I want to make it personal. Our teacher won't let us write in the first person. She said it can be about any prejudice we have experienced, just not written from our point of view.
Oh! And I got 82% on my first psych test!! I am so lost in that class, so I consider this quite an accomplishment!!
I spoke with some friends last night, and it is confirmed, I am going back to Bulgaria this winter. I haven't been there in two years, I just can't wait to see how everyone and everything has changed, if at all. This year, I am going for the New Year.
Last winter, I spent the new year in Scotland. Glasgow, on the actual new year, and Edinburgh for about the next two weeks or so, I believe. The things that stand out to me most on that trip was...
1. How many Australians we met
2. The two Autralian guys we first met, in London, sharing a room with us in the hostel. Not only were they going to Scotland also, but they were leaving the same day as us to go and stay in the same city, in the same hostel as us! Strange. Not to mention the fact that they had also planned to go and leave for Edinburgh the same day we had planned to do it.
3. This stands out to me the most. At midnight, on New Years, I was sitting in the dining room of the hostel, watching the same celebration on TV (with a random Australian girl) that was happening in the streets below us. Life is weird sometimes.
So it will be interesting to see how Bulgarian new year differs from Scottish new yr. I have a feeling it will involve much the same amount of drinking.

I wish I could travel for the hell of it. I have often wanted to go to Europe but it costs money and the world is not like it used to be. Are you just traveling because or is there any particular reason? And why Bulgaria, if you dont mind sharing?
