new piercing!!
I got this same piercing when I was 18, and it healed no problem. I had to take it out like six months later because I was promoted at work. Which royally sucked. Not to mention blew. The promotion sooo was not worth it, let me tell you!
I got it pierced again after I quit that job, at the beginning of the summer that just ended. AND IT GOT INFECTED!!! Not just that little bit of swelling or secretion that is expected with most new piercings. It was excreting white crap for like two weeks, and by the time I decided to take it out and just do it all over again once it healed, it was so swollen that I had to go back to the parlor to ask them to take it out. HOLY RUN ON SENTENCE! (sorry, english lit major, can't help it!!)
They told me I should've taken it out like a week after it was pierced, if it was so infected the whole time. Sooo...as it turns out I had used too harsh of a soap to clean it, and that at one time I had accidently left some soap residue in the piercing.
Whoops.

I guess it is one of those things. Just have to deal with it you know? Some people that God does not put obstacles in front of you unless your capable of handling them. Yet I am finding that to be untrue. I suspect that God may have turned his/her back to the world a long time ago.
