I have learned that Sylvania Silverstar headlights are garbage. I've just had my 3rd one burn out this year. I had just replaced it 2 weeks ago. At $30-per bulb this is unacceptable. Time to go with the OEMs.

All day long I think of all kinds of shit I could write here. But, once I'm home I don't even care.

My place isn't done, yet. I've been making progress, but there's still a lot to be done. The last of the flooring should be done tomorrow, baseboards notwithstanding.

I went back to work 2 weeks ago and starting last week I've been working the super-early AM shift. I go in between 2-3AM. Which is nice because I don't have to deal with so much traffic....

Ah, my bedroom floor is done. I have a nice Pergo now, (as opposed to a wretched carpet) with a maple finish.
It's so clean and smooth, I was effortlessly breakdancing and moonwalking on it.
Then I got on my back and started making Pergo angels.

Well, into week 3 of my vacation and I'm just now getting started on the demolition portion of my remodeling project.
I have to get this done.
Too many irons in the fire.

Ah, today was another one of those "take-the-day-off" days. The kind where my employer calls me and tells me to take the day off. But it's extra sweet this time. My 3-week vacation starts on Saturday and I was already scheduled to have Friday off for the day early head-start. Now my 21 days off are 23 days off. My vacation starts TODAY!
