Who am I


I'm an old soul.
Trapped in a young body.
Lost and growing up in the wrong time.
So I travel, wondering around.
Mostly alone, but searching for a friendly smile.
So I watch, observing humanity.
Emotion dripping out of the cracks of the universe,
Because of the sights I see.
Taking it in is sometimes overwhelming ,
Processing it sometimes stings deep inside me.
All with a grin on my face, because interesting it all is to me.
Yet when things go wrong I will be there by your side
To silently hold your hand , and to just let you cry
Looking into your eyes to tell you everything will be alright ,
Even though you don’t see me but can sense my presence all night.
I look at the stars as I lay by your side.
Watching the universe disappear with the sun rise.
I look at you as I start to walk away
You can sense this is goodbye.
I don’t want this but this is my life.
I can't stay.
If I hold onto you for to long, it wont end right.
Remember me for this moment in time.
I must walk away and continue my travels
I need to help others with this life.
You were not the first , and won't be my last…
God I wish you were my last. Why can't you be my last?
No. no. I can't think like that. I can't.
Why do I feel this way?
Why won't it pass?
Its to late though…
A memory in your mind I shall be
Maybe, just a touch of cold

I have to go.
I must go back to my travels
I must go alone.
