Aw, I went to donate blood today... and they wouldn't take it! My iron's too low, which I guess means I have to run out and eat a bunch of steak or something. That would have been my 5th donation... but they did still give me an Incredibles pencil, and I think that's even better than getting stuck in the arm with a huge needle...

Sigh, what a day. Work is insane, and next week will be insane times 100. I'll be doing the work of what two assistants should. I wish I could just clone myself for the week... I wonder if I'd get double the pay?

On the upside, yesterday I bought a new cd and a new hoodie, which I am currently listening to/wearing. Both of which...

My parents are cool enough that I can live at home for free without going insane.

I'm getting the hell out of town to immerse myself in fringe theatre for three days, that's pretty good.

If you're still looking for something theatrical to do, you should swing by the Calgary ACTS Theatre Expo. All the community groups will be plugging themselves and their upcoming seasons, so you'd get a feel for what's available. Saturday, 2-5, Vertigo Theatre under the Calgary Tower. Yes, I spell that out on my journal, but who has time to read all that...

Well, I'm back in Calgary and the weather is miserable. Someone needs to tell whoever's in charge that its August, not October. My trip was fantastic though. Perfect weather all ten days and I got to see almost all of my old friends. The highlight of the trip was most definitely getting drunk with my family and shaking our booties on the dancefloor. My uncle...

Hey, dude. Guess who camped next to me over the weekend? Either you, or people you were hanging out with, although I didn't figure that out til Sunday night when I caught something some cute blonde girl from Calgary was saying. Unless that wasn't you hanging out with those dudes... uhhh... Anton and Cyril were two of them. ANYWAY FUNNY STUFF.

For sure... always gotta catch hot shit.

Bloody hell. Sand in electronics is crap. Hopefully it's salvagable.

Don't worry, I'm still alive. The sea monsters haven't eaten me yet.

I've been baking on the beach. I've missed having sand stuck everywhere. I even opened up my book in bed last night and sand came pouring out all over the sheets. I think I still have sand in my hair.

Dad's taking me out for a cruise on his motorbike today, then its...

<breathes deep>

The ocean is divine.

My old bedroom has been turned into a sewing room. I'm officially a 'guest' in my parent's house now. Not that I mind, its just a little weird.

Lots planned for the week: some fishing with my dad, a little day trip with my mom, rock climbing with my old climbing partner, and some good old fashioned soaking up...

I'd never be able to say something like that, espcially not after hearing of her lovely hours of fun with another guy.

As for hanging with you, I'm fine with that.

In Vancouver
With my brother
He's so groovy, I love spending time with him.
We're going to one of my favorite restraunts tomorrow for fruit crepes (the Naam for all those Van-types, yum!)
Ohhh and last night five of us ate almost $200 of Indian food. So good.

I ran around barefoot in a gorgeous garden all night. It was a nice wedding.

When have you been to Galiano?? Do you know peeps who live there?? I love it sooooo much, Im all like in BC/holiday mode now, drinking Shaftebury in the sun, sitting by the ocean and contemplating life, wearing no shoes, etc etc. No want to go home.......

Are you for real maybe gonna go on that camping trip? Id like to say I would but ive taken like half a year of holidays in the past year (literally) so i need to work, i cant see it happening. I can make exceptions though, there are always secret little ways out of work, and you sound cool. so maybe......what do you think???

smile
masquerade:
Barefoot in the grass is excellent fun. Unless you step on a wasp. I did that once in elementary school. The wasp was not impressed.
