Allright! So the new laptop has (finally!) arrived, and I'm in love.
Her name's Persephone, and she's amazing. How could I have lived without a mac for this long?
I woke up this morning (5am, gross.) to the sound of rain... something I don't get to hear as often as I did when I lived on the island. It becomes almost a treat for me when it rains here. Not only does it remind me of home... it also means I get to use my purple Moshi Moro umbrella! Yay!
Taught my band again last night, and they're actually starting to improve! I've really cracked down on them for band etiquette (not playing while I'm talking, instruments up when I tell them, etc) and I'm teaching them a new song. Its really easy, but sounds great so it boosts their little egos. This is a good thing. I hope it will be ready by the time we have to perform it (June 4th)
