It is the perfect day for the first of October. A little cool, a little rainy...
I woke up miraculously without a hangover and cuddled with Mommacat and the boy, now we're off to have breakfast at my favorite spot, go to the bookstore and then spend some time with a good friend at the coffee shop.
Oh, about Mommacat (who we've named Flo).
We've taken in 5 kittens, one week old yesterday, and their mom. They'll stay with us until the babies are old enough to go to their own homes (at about 8 weeks old). The little squeakers are so very cute! There's one black, one calico (like her mom), and three ginger kitties. They won't open their eyes until next week sometime.
Flo is very cute and verrrrry sweet. She's absolutely tiny and really skinny, the rescue shelter figures she's not even a year old. This is her first litter of kittens.
I'll post pictures when I get around to putting them on the computer
but for now, it is french toast time!
