Good lord.

I just spent an entire night in the country with a bunch of cowboys. It was... weird. My roomate's best friend was having a wedding reception, and they needed a bartender, I was promised money so I agreed to go. Needless to say, I really didn't fit in wearing my ripped jeans, my favorite thrift store tshirt and my Cons.
Now don't get...

Can't you go to the bride or your roomie and ask for what you're owed? How much were you supposed to get, anyway?

Instead of paying bills, I spent $60 on CDs.

This makes me happy.

I miss the ocean so much today.

The Elbow River was insanely flooded today, we went to check it out. I feel bad for all those people who had damage to their houses, but the kiddie park that was mostly underwater was mighty cool.

I'm glad the sun is back... I was getting a little tired of the rain. A year and three months in...

Random thoughts for June 17th 2005

Kumquats are the awesomest fruits to ever exist. Pomegranites come in a close second.

Stephen Harper gives me the creeps.

There is a tornado warning right now for a few places just north of here... Watch out for flying monkeys!

ooo aaa

Today's thoughts were brought to you by the letter Q, and the number six.

that pb and bananna combo rather revolts me though heh heh.
its nice and sweltering hot, humid, and just as nice sunny and sickeningly giddy to the "normals" as ever out here.

I love the thunderstorms and your post has encouraged me to make banana and peanut butter sandwiches which I haven't had in about three years.

Hey everyone!

Its Environment Weekin Canada!

To celebrate, I have stopped showering for the week, and am burning patchouli. Okay not...

But seriously. Do something nice for your earth this week (and maybe the one after and the one after....)
Go recycle some stuff. Take transit. Hug a fucking tree. Just go.

A very rainy monday...

I'm inspired to clean my room.

Think I'll go do that.

UPDATE:

Room's clean... ish.

Have you ever put a song on repeat and just listened to it over and over until you knew every word?
If so, which song?

I love June. Things here are so green right now. Its not too hot. June is a nice month.

Woke up with a cold today, which was weird. I felt perfectly fine yesterday, and this morning I got up and discovered I had a full blown cold.

And I accidentally got high at work. Oops.

Having a cold with my job is super lame, because...

Getting high on cold medication at work sounds better than getting sick as a dog and throwing up at work (which I did the other day, without the aid of any type of medication. It's a skill, I know)

It's been raining here too, It never really rains for long in good old Mexican Hat, but three days straight it's been raining. It's like the world is upside down... or it's not really that strange at all, but it sounds more interesting if I say that.

Oh, by the way, Hello.

Four days with no work... what IS a girl to do with herself?!

Got my ears stretched again today, and now they're sore. Ow.

I really wanted to fly home to the island for my days off, but it would have cost me $500 for the plane ride alone. I suppose this means I won't be back for a while.

Anyone want to steal me...
