okay so i have been a bad SG member, lets see if i can bring everyone up to speed.
what started my absense was my comp was sent back to apple to be fixed. i had bought the isight camera (so i could talk with family in other states and do dirty things mself) and the firewire cable that came with it was bad, so it fried my logic board. in additiong my latch to keep my comp was broke and my ipod died in late december, so i figured it was time to fix everything. my comp was gone for a full two weeks and my ipod was replaced on the spot. problems solved! i now talk to my brother in north carolina and i am working on getting my dad set up with video chatting. i love apple computers and finding things out about them, a bit of a dork in that way.
next - work. in my field of work (production on TV commercials) there is no such thing as an 8 hr. day. my days are 12 hrs. or more. no joke. i am usually called for shoot days, which on average are about 14 - 16 hrs. because i work so much i fall behind on other aspects of my life. bills, social life, personal growth. but since it is freelance i can take time off when i want, but i am a workaholic by nature. i never say no and i work my butt off. which leads me to my next thing, getting sick. i had been working so much, through weekends, outside in the cold, that my body was just shutting down. i had a cold, sore throat, a fever. i lost 4 days of work and killed a weekend.
and when you are in new york, sickness and disease just flies around.
for fun - i saw the movie NIGHT WATCH. a russian film, def worth checking out if you love special FX, fantasy, vampires, ultimate good vs. evil (i.e. - lord of the rings, matrix, zombie movies, etc.) went to an oscar party. FUCKIN LOVED THE OSCARS. the show, the jokes, the winners. thought it was their best show in about 6 years. i also saw underworld: evolution. fuckin cool as shit. did everything i wanted them to do in my mind. also see AUDITION and OLDBOY. asain cinema. freakin wild stuff. audtion has the narliest ending ever.
as far as women - non exsistent. i talk to some. met a girl at the apple store, asked her for her #, she gave it to me, i called, left a message, no call back. beautiful too. black, sick afro, big lips... WHY DID SHE NOT CALL ME BACK!!?? 
so i think that is enough for now. i will make sure i am a better SG member. sorry everyone. i am now gonna go check all my friends and make comments so you all know i am alive.
like i have said in the past, i really want SG to be a meeting forum for me. find out about new music (which reminds me, i will tell you about the new music i have discovered. awesome!), new artist, movies. okay i will shut up now.
