Last week, a few of my friends asked me if I wanted to go for a walk in the fields with the horses.
But you guys have to know, my horse, Onan, isn't fully trained yet.
I can't actually ride him, he has no clue of direction, doesn't know what stop means,... When he came to me, he had zero respect, last summer he did a little rodeo show, with me on it (not for long though xD).
So, you can imagine I was a bit scared.. I thought of all kind of worse case scenarios.. And the woman I'm taking lessons from told me not to do it, since he doesn't know 'stop'.
But my friends convinced me, and he was such a good boy, it was his first time on the street.. And there were cars, barking dogs, scary things only he saw.. He did it very well, no running away or out of control behavior!
I'm so proud of him! And the trust has grown, from both sides!
