This is really petty and elitist, but it really annoys the shit out of me when people say, "Oh, I listen to all kinds of genres" because, no, you don't. Listening to Ashlee Simpson, Kelly Clarkson, Coldplay, John Mayer, the Killers and Fiddy Cent doesn't qualify as "all kinds of genres." Here, let me play you some Diamanda Galas, some Frankie Yankovic, some Merzbow, some Leadbelly, some John Cage or Shostakovich, and maybe some Django Reinhardt and Pussy Galore and Daniel Johnston while we're at it, so you can realize that you don't know shit about shit and by the way, Lisa, just because one of your friends claims to be "into music" does not mean I'd get along with him because your idea of "into music" has more to do with Green Day or Velvet Revolver than real music, goddamnit.
