Is it female nature to try make ex-boyfriends jealous?

Hmm? NAH. Most of the time I'm looking to either a) corral them into my friend stable. "Whoah Horsey!" or b) trying to negotiate said friendship, usually by a mutual dance through a minefield with them (maybe that's what she's trying to do?) or c) remove them from my life as effectively as possible.

How's it going except for flaunting exgf action?
