So what a day yesterday.

Night before last, my friend and I went to Gil Mantera's Party Dream at the Grog Shop. I guess it was a promotional concert for Hungarian liquor manufacturer Zwack ("Zwack is most good!")

So I'm up front watching the Dream and this girl next to me starts eyeing me. So I dance with her and she's pretty drunk and it gets to the point where she's slipping ice cubes into my mouth... via her mouth. And then her friends tell me she's engaged. So I dance with her the rest of the show, but it was rather odd. She was cute, too.

And Gil wore my friends clothes. My friend put her hoodie (one of those t-shirty hoodies, with guitars on the sleeves) on the stage cause she was too warm. So Gil picks it up and puts it on over his silver lam catsuit. It was pretty hot.

All in all an interesting night.

So we left after midnight, and then the fun began. I had to get up at four that morning to help my dad out on a case (he's a headlighting expert who testifies in court cases, usually dealing with night time traffic accidents).

So I got to reenact the woman who got hit by the car. Same old story, dark clothing, walking on the street (leave it to Mahoning/Trumbull counties to not put sidewalks in), early morning before twilight. I can guarantee you, I will never be hit by a car while outside of my vehicle. I've heard too many horror stories to take chances. Got road flares in my trunk, got orange reflective tape, the works.
