I had opening night of my one-act last night. It went really well. My actress is wonderful. She get a seventeen page monologue down cold in four days and brought so much to the table that over tech week we crafted a really top-notch show. She plays a cross-dressing man and is hilarious and tragic and vicious and everything I wanted.

I was really worried about this show after two cast members came and went. Then the playwright and I were worried the play wasn't interesting enough so I tried to add a very psychological, experimental element with another actress, but she decided she wasn't comfortable doing what we came up with in front of an audience. So it was back to square one. But now it's just a great show. My professor, Claude, very much enjoyed it. He told me this week he thinks I should pursue directing as my career, rather than sound design. I'm thinking about it.

Also, I had a mohawk for about a week. But I had to cut it off for the show I'm in.
