Disturbed is my fave band btw. I never want kids but if I did I'd only want them to be fathered by David Draiman. The gala is June 15, in Toronto. At least, I'm pretty sure that's when it is. Check the notice in the Canada East group. I was at last years and it was the first SG thing I went to. I was still fairly new to the site, and I'm extremely shy in person, but I managed to make the seven-hour drive to Toronto, and it was worth it. I met a bunch of people I already had talked to here, and some more.
Plus, there were a few burlesque acts, and lots and lots of beautiful women.
People come from all over to attend, not just the Toronto area, but from Michigan and New York State, and there were even a couple people who came all the way from Newfoundland.
It's fun, so you should find a friend who drives and invite them to come along. (Yes, you're allowed one guest).
