ITS ALMOST TIME......
I cannot wait until Saturday to kick this off. I want to add a special thank you to Rosaleigh, without the help of that woman I would have gone insane or possibly just given up at this point, she is truly an amazing woman and I appreciate everything she has done to assist in the planning of this event.
The coalition against domestic violence is a charity that is held very close to my heart, I grew up in a rather hostile environment, my father was a rather abusive man, both mentally and physically, especially to my mother, it never hurt much to be hit by the man, but seeing him hit my mother broke my heart, the real abuse didnt start on me until long after they were divorced and by that time I was old enough to stand up for myself. However, it did not end there, my mothers ex-husband was even more so abusive, it still breaks my heart to this day to know the pain my mother went through trying to give us all a happy home. It breaks my heart even more knowing that she still punishes herself for the way these men were to us kids. I have never known a better woman in my life.
When I told my mom I was hosting this event and the charity the proceeds were going to the woman started to cry and said " I have never been more proud and honored to be your mother, thank you" those words alone released silent tears of my own. I know first hand the abuse that some people, woman, child, even man deal with on a daily basis and I would like to personally invite you all to share in lending a helping hand, trust me, every little thing helps.
Domestic Violence is a widespread issue that needs to be stopped.

On a much lighter note, I recently did a partner shoot with a good friend of mine. The project is called embrace and it is for a photography students project. Please feel free to share your opinions on these photos. NOTE THE MAN IN THE PHOTOS IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND. I just wanted to clear that up so there is no chance of confusion. So a special thanks to Jake of Cantuphotos and Russell Fisk for being such an easy partner to work with. If there are couples in the area who wish to have their photos taken together for this project, please let me know and I will put you in contact with the Photographer. He is always looking for more couples to work with.
I recently injured my wrist working, it kinda sucks being stuck at home, luck for me the staffing agency I am working for is finding small jobs around the office for me to do, plus as of today they are going to pay me to take some management courses. Woohoo for free classes.
Now I am sitting here trying to think of any sort of real news I have, sadly there isnt much going on, between party planning and sitting on the sidelines because of my wrist I dont do a whole whole lot. So I will leave you with some random photos....
