I really just need to change the message in my journal...
Anyway, a whole bunch new in my life. I am now back in South Dakota for the cheap, cheap, cheap law school. Arts Admin will never allow me to pay off a school debt from a different school... The former Exec Dir of Steppenwolf suggested to me, when I was interning and working there, that at some point I would need to go back to school. A J.D. had been extraordinarily helpful to him... So here I am.
The simple life is pretty great though... I can walk to class, I live in a beautiful old home that I have completely rehabbed... Life is pretty good, but pretty lonely. Not a lot of artsy, thinky folk... The population here is all 18-24... Not a lot of folks to whom I relate. But I am much happier in general.
Reading Calvino again... The Baron in the Trees is fantastic!
