so last night we drove an hour to get a show that we were headlining.
when we got there we were pleasantly surprised to see the amazing turnout to the show. the whole band was super excited and i'd like to think alot of the people there were excited to see us play. all the bands were awesome and the crowd was totally going off... into every song! we set up quickly and were ready to rock. just as we're about to hit our first note.... dun dun dun... the fucking cops show up! apperently a neighbour of the venue had filed a noise complaint. they shut the show down no questions asked. we didnt get to play a single fucking note! there was alot of pissed off people... us right at the front of the pack! luckily this FINE YOUNG LADY helped us say "FUCK THE POLICE" by leading a convoy of cars to her basement where we rocked the hell out for a significantly smaller.. but just as stoked crowd! thanks to shannen for helping out a band in need and thanks to everyone that came out with NO notice to support and hangout...
a very special thanks goes out to our boys in A DAY AND A DEATHWISH for rushing home and grabbing us some mics and a PA system... i couldnt be happieror more excited to be touring with these lads in a few weeks!
