I hate when I realize that a week's gone by and I've had nothing worthwhile to say (ergo no journal entry), but I just haven't been up to much. I saw Adaptaion and The Unbearable Lightness of Being. Both were great, as well as excruciatingly long. I just have a very short attention span. I have trouble sitting still for more than half an hour. I think that adds to my incessant smoking, as it's a readily available excuse to get up and go outside for five minutes. I also tend to rush through everything I do, and then when I have a spare moment I don't quite know what to do with myself. And when I've got nothing better to do or to think about, I will almost immutably start thinking about pants. I've always thought this was the least sensible of my various idiosyncrasies. I own four pairs of pants, they all seem to fit pretty well...What's there to think about? Mind-boggling.
I've always covered my walls in pictures and posters and post cards documenting everything that I've liked, loved or passively enjoyed. Now I'm starting to feel like these walls are closing in on me. I think it means it's time for some sort of fresh start. I've always loved a good blank slate. I think that's just what I need.
Despite what I'm seeing with my own two eyes, I have trouble believing it snowed again. I was already in my Spring state of mind. Now that's all gone to shit. Ooooh well.

Anyway, time to cut short my rambling and get some work done. I hope everyone here is well!

Aww, shucks. I know a dog just like that; we call him Gomez. (thats not really his name.) It makes me all sentimental just thinking about him. Ergo, every golden retriever I meet now gets tagged with 'Gomez'.
