Well, yesterday marked the end (finally) of my 3-and-a-half year tenure as an indentured servant. The funny thing is that they were actually contemplating taking me to court over because I'm technically going to be working for one of their customers....... Long story short, they have no leg to stand on with the court thing, so we parted amicably - well, as best as could be after all of that shit......

A friend took me out to Ruth's Chris for the celebration dinner last night.. Holy shit, I never thought a $35 steak could taste so good! That place rocks! (All said and done, it was almost $200 -including tip) which, yes it was delicious, might not have been quite worth THAT much money! However, it was a very special occasion so whatever - good memories.

I'm going to relax this weekend and read a lot. Thanks to Al, I'm now hopelessly engrossed in House of Leaves and almost can't wait to sit down and read again...... Great book, if anyone else has the chance to check it out...
