ok then.. I've had my reality check to bring me back down from this weekend's excellence. As much as it sucks, reality is certainly here to stay..

More bad news for me... I just found out that F/X isn't going to air the new season (3) of Nip/Tuck until SEPTEMBER 4th!!! Jesus, that's SO long between seasons!
I think tomorrow I'm going to actually observe Memorial Day the way it was meant to be. There's a large amount of servicemen and women that have fallen that deserve our gratitude. So, I'm going to try and find a memorial service in the area and make sure that I attend. While I'm out, and paying respects, I'm going to stop by and visit my Sister's grave as well. I've gotten out there less and less as I've gotten older and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.
Something interesting that I've taken away from this weekend so far.. I think I'm going to move ahead with my desire to have my septum "poked". Al gave me some good info about the process and answered my silly questions. I want one especially after seeing Trevallion's - he pulls it off so perfectly.... I think if I keep mine small and slightly discreet, I could pull it off myself. Truth be told, I've always liked how it looks, but didn't think I could make it work. I'm at that point in life where I just don't give shit if someone else likes it or not.. I WANT ONE!!! I need to ask Trevallion about his experience though, as a final bit of research before giving the "Green Light". Knowledge is power my friends.....
Something funny about me...... I was riding the Harley last night and had the ipod playing my top rated songs in the playlist... I shit you not, these three song came on in this order and I absolutely rocked out (and sang along) to all three: Elton John - Philadelphia Freedom, Iron Maiden - Flight of Icarus and Travis Tritt - Here's a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares)... I'm kinda screwed in the head I guess.
Beaten down and slightly depressed about the above mentioned issues - I'm going to bed...
*update* - I finally got around to tallying the scorecard from the Seattle Invitational 2005..
I thought for sure that Al had totally annihilated both me and Venice..... Heh, either way, I had a blast and hope to see them both again soon..
