Ok, so I've completely neglected my journal for the past month....... Not good. However, I have had LOTS going on in my life recently. I have been offered a job at a rather large, prestigious university and am just waiting for the "final approval" from the Boss' boss. This will be a HUGE step for me - as that it will DOUBLE my current salary and get me right back to where I used to be, before the .dot com dropout. I'm practically giddy at this point - but wait until I get the official offer.. I'll be out of control!
Lets see.. Last update, I was talking about wanting to get rid of the Iriver PMP-140. I sold it on Ebay for (surprisingly) a nice little profit! Seeing as how I can't seem to function without a mp3 player, I decided to go back to the tried-and-true Ipod. To my great joy and amazement, they now make an ipod with 60gb of storage. Perfect for someone who already has over 40gb of music in their collection.
There really is no good substitute for the Ipod. I've tried/owned them all and the Ipod wins, hands-down, every time.
Today is going to be a great day. I'm going <gasp> fishing with my Mom, Step-Dad and Step-Sister to Eastern Washington for 5 days. Honestly, I'm seriously excited about this because I don't get to spend enough time with my family and we've always been so close in the past. I could care less if I catch anything - hell, even a boot or tire will suffice. :>
Hopefully I'll have a new pic to upload after this trip - so I can take down that fucking goofy looking one that's there now.
