Ok, so Valentine's update time.

The day was abnormally smooth - no problems at work, everyone in a good mood etc. A close friend and I went to dinner at TGI Fridays in Kirkland. I haven't been there in a LONG time - kinda missed it! Anyway, we parked on separate sides of the restaurant so as I was walking back to my car, another car pulls up alongside me and there's two beautiful women inside looking at me. One sticks her arm out the window and says: "Here. This is for you. Happy Valentine's Day, Babe." I didn't know what to say or how to react. "Thanks, Happy Valentine's to you also! Have a great night, ladies." And they drove away slowly. As I got to my car, I opened the card and inside it read: To: "A Very Special Someone" From: "You've been hit by the Valantine's Bandit" (all handwritten). It was a Tiny Toon card with "little" bugs on the front and said: "You've got some bunny under your spell"
The sad part is that simple gesture really meant something to me. It was completely random, thoughtful and caring. I was all warm and fuzzy and happy inside after that.

It renewed my hope and faith in the human race. smile

Then, we went and saw: Are We There Yet. Ice Cube should NOT be in kids movies! The sad part is that all of the good parts were shown in the trailer. Depressing! I was hoping for SO much more!

I have the 'hankerin to get something pierced. Ideas anyone? Not sure that I could pull off the septum (like Trevallion) but I've always liked it! Had a labret at one time - but my face isn't perfectly symmetrical, so it always looked crooked to me. A surface piercing perhaps?

Help me decide!

Yeah, one time I went to buy about 25 3-cent stamps when they raised the price (again). The lady just gave them to me. I was really touched.

*Note: I was not at the US post office.

Have you heard about my new book series? It's based on "Where's Waldo?' but it's called, "Where's chuckg?"
