What a great, great night! Wanda Jackson totally kicks ass! It was an incredible show. I hope I can rock it even half as well as she does when I'm her age. I was in awe. I've never seen The Mercy Lounge that packed before.
Saw a couple of friends I hadn't seen in ages so that was cool. I couldn't drink much after last night. Damn am I getting old. I had like three PBRs and just said the hell with it and got a coke. Hit the Bluegrass afterwards and caught the end of Rosie Perez's set. Damn daylight savings time... The bars had to close early so I only caught a couple of songs. That was such a booking fiasco. Having the two of them playing the same night at two different joints. Even Wanda Jackson commented on it during her set. But oh well. So it goes.
Anyways, my mother gave me a scanner today so I'm going to go and see if I can't get it operational.
Somebody. Anybody. I need a digital camera. Come on.... I'll be your best friend.
