Just got back in from my date. It was cool. It was literally dinner and a movie, no joke. She seems cool. We have plans to go out again. But it's weird though. I don't know what it was, but I was actually kind of uptight about tonight. I realized this after I washed my car inside and out and then made sure to polish my shoes. I was actually worried about making a good first impression. I haven't been like that in ages! I kind of like it though. The whole normalcy of this evening was quite refreshing. So much so that the girl even remarked upon it. It was a really nice time. I didn't try to throw any moves on her (sorry EvilWillow and Shmidol- no juicy details!) Just a laid back, get to know you kind of a thing. I do need some advice though. I asked her if I could see her again and she said yes, but I was careful not to make specific plans. Herein lies my question: How long should I wait until I hit her with a specific day? There's a swing night on monday that I would really like to ask her to. But should I try to be a bit more aloof for a little while longer? These types of situations never cease to make me shake my head and laugh. If I could give two shits about the girl then I'm all Mr. Pimp Daddy. But if its a girl I actually like, then I don't know what the hell to do and always end up over analyzing everything. And F.Y.I. for those of you who may remember, this is the girl whose number I got when I was plastered and was kind of apprehensive about calling, and she's even finer than I remember. Goddamn I kept wanting to kiss her tonight!
