I am so proud of myself. I'm actually staying home tonight and being a good, responsible soul (on a Saturday night no less). I don't know what the hell has gotten into my here lately. I have been wearing out the gin joints and honky tonks. Good times indeed, but now I'm broke. Not broke, broke. But I'm supposed to be SAVING money right now for the house I'm buying this summer. Not buying every cheap floozie I run across a drink. But oh well, like they always say.... Pimpin' ain't easy..... But I'll stop being stupid now.
Saw The Rev on thursday. The Legendary Shack Shakers opened up for them. They kick ass, and they're from Nashville. You just can't beat it. The Rev was cool. It wasn't their best set I've ever seen, but it was still pretty good.
I've placed a moratorium of sorts on my social life this week. I'm not going out until Friday. Not even on my days off, which are on wed. and thurs. I'm just going to stay home and take it easy.
