I'm glad to be in California. My moms is ready to be back up north but, for me, the west coast has a separate atmosphere from the rest of the world. I have not given up my undying devotion to the NYC, but I do know that Cali is where I'm from. Seattle will always be the place my friends will say welcome home. Alaska will always be where I drink in the woods, cause what the hell else is there really to do in the mountains? Writing of which, I'm watching Grizzly Man right now, holy shit. Now yer boy Jake here, he's seen a Grizzly in his times up North, even a momma with cubs, unsafe as that is. But this guy, Timmy, had a need for love of something that could only have been filled by love for himself. The nature what killed him was the same what showed he was good. miao!!

oh man, the whole H. L. minus shirt thing (which of course I saw) - i mean, torso=always a good thing, but the way he kissed her! peckish kissing does not work! and he kissed her that same way in the last episode, which does not bode well for a real life encounter. also, i was feeling kinda sad, cuz ever since he won the golden globe i feel like they're scrambling to make the show softer and more accessable and i fear it's loosing its teeth.

i'm way too invested in this.
