Allright so i figure i might as well put a big update up for once and actually explain how things are going on in life.
Me and my little brother (the kid who i consider my little brother) drove down and saw Alkaline Trio and Against Me! last Saturday in San Diego. 3 hour drive but it was so worth it. Against Me! opened and played some of my favorites but i was a little disapointed with the crowd. I'm used to their shows going off and kids getting on stage and just being nuts but i figured they were all there for Alkaline Trio so I didn't worry too much. Then Alkaline Trio got up and ripped through the entire Godammit album, a bunch of acoustic songs and then eight or nine other favorites. It was seriously a two and a half hour set. AND IF THE CROWD HAD ACTUALLY GOTTEN INTO I MIGHT HAVE BEEN TIRED. But no it was sad, i dont know what passes for a crazy show down there in SD but damn this one was docile to say the least. I was right up front for both bands and i didn't even get my plugs knocked out. whatever it happens i guess.
Went to the Brite Spot after the show. Sooo Gooood. They finally got the steak in for the vegan philly cheese steak sandwhich. God i ate soo fuckin much its rediculous. I killed my whole sandwhich, a fat stack of fries, and a good chunk of his tofu mess. Always a great meal. If you've never been i highly recomend it.
A couple days later my ex came to pick up more of her stuff. and i really don't want to even think about it right now. things were said and doen that shouldn't have even came into our heads. We went and say Stay Alive. Fucking excellent movie, and i have a new crush on the blonde girl in it. Her name is like Samair Armstrong or something like that. So perfect i can't even think about her without smiling. bleh i'm lame get over it.
Did a record run yesterday at ameoba. Picked up a couple that i've been looking at for a while. And off to Vegan Express. I feel a stupid sense of pride walking in there and having the guy know what i want. Its sad really. O fuck i just realized a good chunk of this update revolves around food and I'm starving.
I found out tonight that i start the apprenticeship at psycho city as soon as i can work out my work schedule. It's going to get hectic. I'm going to see Karen my piercer all the time. Especially since we are going to go to xray tech school now. I'm so looking forward to it.
Off tomorrow. No clue what im going to do. Maybe tokio again, this time for more than half an hour.
