Whelp, it's Friday...The 19th, which means, Sunday I will be another year older. Blah. I wanna stop aging. I am already getting a few gray hairs.
The only thing I like about my birthday is the fact that I get a lot of free food and the occasional bonus check of $20 from people. Normally, I don't like giving people money or gift cards for gifts. I have this weird thing where I actually like putting thought and time into presents I give people. However, no one really puts thought into gifts for me, and they almost always give me junk that leaves me with, 'wtf were you thinking? do you know me at all?!' I prefer those people to give me money or gift cards >sigh< I wish I didn't have to.
Like my ex, for example. Last Christmas he thought I would love one of those wooden reindeer that poops candy. Heh...yeah...A giggle for like a minute or 2, but not the greatest gift to buy your girlfriend for Christmas...He was horrible about giving me gifts. I wish he would have just stopped. Like for our anniversary, he bought himself a brand new gameboy advance sp...so he gave his little brother his gameboy advanced, and for my anniversary...I got his little brother's gameboy color, since he didn't need it anymore.
I know this is making me seem really materialistic and possibly a bitch. Honestly, I am not. I love giving other people gifts, and normally don't care that much about getting them. I'd be content with something sweet and simple, but ya know. Just ticks me off sometimes because it is supposed to be the thought that counts, but yet people don't put much thought into them, and I do...I put a lot of thought into gifts. >sigh<
I don't expect anything from the new boyfriend. Technically, we've only decided to do the relationship days the other day, so it's cool. That, and it is a whole long distence thing, anyway, so I wont even get to spend it with him. Also sucks. I do love him a lot, though. I'll be happy with a phone call and him telling me how much he loves me
Oh going to play mini golf and race go karts tonight, and going to Chucky Cheese Sunday...SWEET!!!
