I get grumpy when things go seriously awry in my little department. Even though it's not my fault, it is my responsibility. One that I take very seriously.

I have returned from the illustrious GDC convention. What an absolutely phenominal experience! I reconnected with some old friends. Some wonderfully generous people adopted me into their social circles. And some influential folks decided to talk to me about future employment.

My biggest thanks go out to Lanha, Silvio, Jane, Ben, and Justin. But I couldn't forget (other) Ben, Matt, Jody, and Sheri either.

I'm off to San Francisco tomorrow for the industry conference for creeps like me. I had to delay my trip a day to babysit a very large file transfer over my slow-ass cable modem connection. I probably should have just fedex'ed the fucker and been done with it.

I'm actually delighted I pushed back a day. I hate rushing around. Now I'm much less likely...
