Before I get to the dilemma...I shall announce
I got the job.
I'll be earning an additonal dollar each hour (from a bad $7.50 to a not that bad $8.50 and hour), and have two weeks of vacation available to me once I start! (can't use it right away...shouldnt take time off until I get used to it there)
Oh man. This is a good thing. FINALLY!!! OUT OF THE SCOTSMAN PRESS! DEATH TO SCOTTY! FUCK ALLA DEM!! DEM BASTARDS!!! !!!!!
Ah. OK. That's out of my system.
Well, today will be interesting. I have to
1) give my 2 weeks notice... and
2) call in sick (Two of my good freinds are moving to Arizona very soon. The last time I'll be able to hang with them is tomorrow.)
The easiest way would be to do it over the phone, tell em that I'm about to go to the Doctors or something, but also that I got news that I was accepted at another job...2 week notice etc etc.
The timing just sucks. I start at Kinko's on August 4th, and I'd like to have a WEEK OFF!!! after ending Scotty, and before beginning Kinkos...
In order to get the maximum amount of time I have to give notice tommorrow. Bad timing....
Any ideas?
