Oh man. Today never ended. Traffic held me up everywhere. slow slow.
Work was slow. and long. and I had a late lunch.
I offered to pick up the new Harry Potter book for my Moms when I got out of work at Midnight. She preordered it months ago. I figure I'd be like Alex from Clockwork Orange, going into Barnes and Noble a quick "In-out".
No fucking luck.
Long.
Slow.
tedious.
the kids were hilarious though...If I were 11 I'd be in 7th heaven. They had such an honest excitement and were really really happy to be hanigng out at midnight, with their friends, reading, laughing...
Meanwhile all the adults were stuck in lines. I was surrounded by 30 male and female clones of "the comic book guy" from the Simpsons.

i did get to sick them on my stupid bitchy neighbors [a cutlass to your throat will keep you quiet about pretty much anything], and they were considerate enough to bring their own oranges. plus, they promised to cook skilly and duff for dinner tonight! yay! yum yum yum
