I've been carfully selecting which CD's to convert to MP3 on my computer. I recently updated the entire OS, and took everything I previously had on my harddrive OFF.

The problem I had previously with all the MP3s is that I tried to put my absolute favorite stuff on there. Which was great, for the first few months.

Then it got pretty horrendously tedious.

Dunno why exactly, It's all stuff I like...but it seemed the damn MP3 player played the SAME songs (out of 26 hours of tunes... it had a pretty limited disposition).

Now I'm approaching it a little differently. I'm converting songs from CD's I havn't heard in YEARS. And man, I'm going though a musical rennaisance here.

Instead of converting the FIRST disc of "Fishbone 101: Nuttasaurusmeg - Fossil Fuelin' the Fonkay" like I did last time, I converted the second disc, which is a lot more diverse and raw.

I converted a "best of Velvet Underground" Disc that is totally opening up the creative floodgates... and found my copy of The Pixies "Surfer Rosa" buried underneith boxes of stuff from college.

And I could go on. but I won't. I got's stuff to do! LAter everyone.
