Ok, so I've already started, but I came up with some interesting content from my own life. The weirdness of people moved me to have a strange dream, one where I floated off the earth. I'm going to call that no-space for now, because imagine if you're above the earth, and in addition to seeing the earth, the sun was also shining on you. a part of the earth would be dark to you. That was not the case here, the earth was fully lit, and not surrounded by any kind of stars.
I couldn't properly describe the effect, because I don't think it was a 3d effect. But the thought of it remained, and lingered. My girlfriend had to travel to New York on business. A married coworker several (at least ten) years my junior turned my own joke about her expansive cleavage around on me, and asked me if I wanted to see it all. The next time I saw my favorite local band play, I wrote like a demon possessed.
iT wAs likE I COUldn't FiGuRe out Where tHe CaPitalS wEnt. Some of the letters melded into each other. I couldn't make some of it out at all.
I spent a day transcribing it. a literal day, trying to figure out what I wrote. It gives me a wierd idea, so I hit up a particular ex of mine who happens toward creative thought and mechanical genius.
This would make a killer work of fiction.
I bounced some ideas off her, and now, it's become its own story. She told me she missed me, but.... she's kind of a whole blog all on her own.
But my creative wierdness wasn't quite done with this idea.
I bounced it off my coworker, who told me that humans could be sinister in just the right way for the story. Then she gave me her number, and spent the rest of the day being an utter tease.
but the worst was this text: "What if you don't know everything, and what you do know is hidden from you because you haven't learned to see the world for all the beauty in it that's always hiding?"
After that line, I owed her a drink or two. it took the whole idea and shifted it.
Now that I have the start to it, I actually am going to turn it into a work of fiction. with the strangest sci-fi/fantasy bent ever.
