The fact that people want to vote for Ron Paul is the exact reason why I hate democracy. Yeah, I said it. I dislike the fact that a lot of dumb, uninformed people get to make decisions that actually effect my life. Oh what I wouldn't give for a meritocracy of some socialist sort.

yeah, the youngster is the bf of me other roommate, who is also one of me bestest friends,....probably one of the kewlest people i've ever lived with. i'd never want to begrudge him happiness...however, i don't really want to live with his fledgling relationship. *shrugs* hopefully, in the next 6 mths or so, i'll actually be living in a place with my lover, full time, instead of us splitting our time btn. both places. ahh well. such is life. how are things for you guys right now?

I've had four job offers that will not work out with going back to school. This has been most disappointing and frustrating. it's kind of a mixture of both, @talbot's...i don't get along with one of the managers very well, but we Make it work...we had a blow out, and we seem to have a better understanding of each other now. it's weird, but whatever. she thinks of the associates that are Young, like late teens-early 20's as her Children, which drives me batty.
since it's clothing retail, you are already scraping the bottom of the barrel, so you just do the best you can. i had a woman freak out that i corrected her, on the sales floor, even tho there was Nigh a customer in sight...
but she's been a manager before, is just barely old enough to be my mom, plus there's a language issue....
we worked it out, but i was like, HELLO???? can you at Least Telll me when you leave the floor, especially when there's only THREE of us on this side of the store? omfg!
