So I've got a chance at work to switch departments and get a pay raise...the price is to end my current management training (which just really started), lose a lot of responsibility, and work a more random schedule.

I really want to go out on the floor and sell, which is what I'll be doing. I'm tired of dealing with customer service all the time, I was just hoping to be able to get the position after finishing up the management training that I'm in. It doesn't look like it'll be available that long though, especially with the DM dragging his feet on my training and my store director not really helping out.

I'm slightly afraid that I won't do as well out there as I think I will. I need to be at least as good in that position as I am where I'm at (which is evidently really good). Who knows, I'm going to talk it over with my direct boss tomorrow since her boss is the one who offered it to me today.
