The interview went rather well, only fucked up a bit in how I handled myself, got a little nervous, but the bastards kept me waiting an extra 45 minutes, in which all the nervousness that I hadn't had before suddenly came out and got progressively worse.
Ended up seeing the results of my testing....blew away the intelligence portion, but was lacking a bit in sociability and maybe a little too cautious. I really hate personality tests, wouldn't someone who worked with me be a better judge than some standardized form?
Anyway, I have to take on a project and prove that I can effectively lead a team of people before I move on to the actual training. That shouldn't be too bad though .
On a worse note, the job that I'll be training for just got filled. Someone from another store took the position, so even once I'm done training I won't get the promotion for awhile. I might move out onto the floor and sell for the Christmas season starting in October or November, just to get some experience on that side of the business as well.
