So my mom is going to all sorts of specialists and has surgery next week currently, though it may get pushed back a week or two depending on how certain tests come back. Kinda worried, but not upset about it yet.
The Che thing is actually turning out to be a lot longer than originally planned. I actually turned in a bit of it as a paper in one of my classes as a discussion on inequality and ethnocentrism.
My D&D group is breaking apart, which sucks. I've been playing with these people for almost a year now, but certain memebers of the group are really just annoying. We have one mad min/maxer who metagames. His wife does nothing...or runs away. Or makes useless characters (a rogue with a 7 intelligence??). Another guy who is there just for killing stuff, not plot, which is also like my wife. We've had a rotating 5th person who is usually a flake. Bleh. Its looking like me, my wife, and the guy who is like her will be adding a person or two on and attempting to continue that way. Or not since he is having a baby soon (well, his wife is) and won't be available for at least a few months. We may still game with the other two, but it'll be the husband of that group running the campaign then, not me, I can't handle it anymore with them.
Twilight Imperium is a freaking awesome game. I need to find more people to play it and do so more often. For the moment our D&D night is probably going to be replaced with a gaming night for various other things until I either fix the current campaign to work with new people or come up with another and we have a steady group.
I got back into WoW...again. I'm really having a good time with it. Decided to branch out and play a few different characters and see if it was just the fact that I was tired of the character I had. We'll see.
School is great, but sadly it means I should be writing papers instead of updating this, so back to that.
