So the promotion is going very well, my guy's sales are WAY up and the department is looking much better. But then this asshole from another store comes in and starts telling me how I'm not perfect. Now I agreed that I'd like someone to come and help me out, but to just be a pretentious bastard about the whole thing and talk down to me about everything is not my idea of actually helping. Yeah, my guys don't do everything right, but they're doing a lot of the right things a lot more often, and really it has only been two weeks.

It thoroughly pissed me off. Then they ask me to come in an hour early this morning to keep helping them set everything correctly (the previous manager had just thrown stuff up when the time came to put it back together evidently) so I show up at 7. They show at about 7:30 with breakfast and sit in the back eating until past 8...when I would have shown up originally. I didn't speak to the fuckers the rest of the day I was so damn angry, except to give him shit once when he said something that just wasn't true about my people.

And now I'm home, chillin on my own. Sorry if I haven't responded to your blogs lately everyone, I've been putting in 60 hours a week or so trying to get my section together so that I could get shat upon like this evidently.
