So I've been watching the BBC lately. And its SO funny how much shit we don't hear about here in the US. It was oddly fitting to see the Greg Palast interview today. I swear politics makes me SO fucking mad. Between Bush, the IMF, the World Bank, and our fucking corporate owned media, I'm becoming very cynical. Which wasn't me before, I believed in things, and that the right things would eventually wn out. Over the last six years or so, I've really seen differently. The IMF is gonna fuck over the 3rd world and we're going to back them up. When 3rd world countries organize and rise against this shit we'll attempt to call them terrorists. OPEC wants the people of their countries to actually get the money that the oil on their land produces. Oh no, how evil. By raising the price of oil, they are making it profitable to work through processes which will extend our supply of oil for a hundred years.
Sometimes I see hope, but I know it'll die out sooner or later. The problem is, I can see hope in my generation, but at the same time, I'm sure the hippies saw hope in themselves and I can't see as they did much and we're infinitely lazier than they are. Sure we protest from time to time, tiny riots, why not? But we don't achieve shit. We moan, we complain, and the corporations don't care, the government cares even less.

I'm tired and too depressed and frustrated and angry to do much of anything but stew.
