So new years was a bunch of fun, though the night was cut short by my wife no longer being able to remain upright anymore. biggrin So home we went, which was really good as I had to work the next day.

The days leading up to New Years were great, my best friend was in town and we hung out, which we hadn't done since June. It sucks that he lives up north now, but thats how these things go and once my wife graduates I fully intend on us moving wherever he's at as long as she can get a job there. He and I played a lot of video games, which was nice, since I don't have that many people here in Tallahassee who I play with, at least not anyone as good as he is. I like my Xbox 360 a lot more now, since he got me a couple of games for it for Christmas and both of them did not suck, as opposed to the two I got for myself.

Yesterday sucked...two of my good friends from work got fired. They deserved it, honestly, but I can't help thinking that it hurt the store more than being strict with the rules is really going to help. So what if they were drunkish on New Years Eve...eh, not my call, nothing I can do about it but hope they can find good jobs soon.

I don't think any company would allow employees to be semi drunk while working? New Years Eve or not.

Eek, being drunk whilst at work...dangerous stuff. I can't stay I never started my new with a beer or three and went in trying to be as quiet as possible, but it was pretty rare and I was always scared of being busted. Bummer for your friends. frown

I can't remember if I got back to you, but going for lunch at the end of the month sounds just fine...just drop me a message or a comment as the days get closer so we can iron out details. smile
