Well hell, this last month has been tons of fun. I got an Xbox 360 but before I could get all my old Xbox games into it and download the drivers for them my internet went down...I thought "Oh well, no big deal."
Right.
Comcast has been fucking retarded about this whole issue and thought it was my modem at first, only when other people in my building started complaining of the same problem they finally came out. But the guy who came out didn't have the proper tools or anything like that so they had to reschedule for over a week later when people who could install lines could come in and put down a new one. Total time without internet (and therefor without a home phone also) 28 days. Sadly though, this is better than when I had Sprint DSL, so I can't threaten to shut off my service, though I did manage to get two months out of them for all the trouble.
Other than that my life has consisted of the pain of working retail during the holidays and the frustration of not really being able to help my wife with all the stress she's been going through with her finals and her projects and everything that was due for the end of the semester. It all turned out well for her, two A's, but still, she's one of those people who freak the fuck out until things are over and someone of authority tells her she did well. My paychecks have been great, but I really haven't had any time off lately and I'm passing out when I get home because of waking up at 5am. No more of that shit after tomorrow though.
Now just one more week of insane returns and all that, then work goes back to normal.
Oh, the only good thing (other than the money) about putting in so much time recently is they gave me Christmas Eve off because of how much extra I've been doing, so I actually get to go home to Jacksonville for Christmas!

Yeah...I know. It makes me sad that it's so quiet, but I haven't any idea how to liven it up. It seems like nobody writes anything unless they're having drama, sigh. But then again, I'm the same way, hahaha.
