Well its been awhile and some rather crazy things have happened over the last couple of weeks. Other than working way too much, I started seeing one of my new coworkers...I know, it's probably a really bad idea, but she's just seasonal, we'll see how it goes.

My wife and I are getting our check for not having a big wedding ceremony next weekend when we go back to Jacksonville. We'll be out of debt and have a nice chunk put away for buying a house either next year or the year after. I keep going back and forth between wanting to buy one here in Tallahassee and wanting to wait until after Becka gets her PhD and we figure out where she is going to get a job.

Things are still frustrating there, sometimes it's better and I'll get excited, hopeful, then the next day, it's worse again...is it bad that I almost put down "Back to normal?" I just want her to be happy again and hopefully some of these tests they're doing and the new drugs are going to help out.

I'm going to Chicago sometime in the spring or summer, when it is bearable up there to visit my best friend. And he's coming here for Christmas...I miss that little bastard since he moved up there. I'm glad he's trying to get transferred somewhere much closer. (Well I just found out when he put in his transfer request, they promoted him, again. So that's a no go for now, but damn that kid is gettin rich)

My other really good friend has applied to be a teacher here in Leon County so he'll be moving from Jax to here next year most likely. So things are looking up, Looking a bit less lonely again. I've made new friends, but there really is no replacing the ones you've known for years and years.

PS a friend of mine saw I liked Portishead, recommended Lamb. So I'm passing along the recommendation, they're awesome so far.
